I mentioned in another topic that money is tight. My question is, If I alter my plan to just include the data plan with no talk- can I use a VOIP program as a substitute to a phone plan? The montly unlimited skype rate is $1.95 a month for unlimited talk. Thats a helluva lot cheaper than 40 bucks a month for a phone plan.

I was laid off and I'm a semi-broke college kid. I could use any cost cutting measures. LoL.

If this does work, will T-Mobile attach fees for the bandwith used for VOIP over the data plan?
