I had a BOLD briefly and loved the way I could hit the Q button which set me into Quiet Mode, It was actually programmed in as a speed dial. I cant figure out how to do this on my 8310, should be easy I thought. I just want to be able to put the BB on vibrate or quiet somehow with the push of one button (just like popping the BB into a holster
I believe this is only available on OS 4.6 & 4.7 devices. (i.e. Bold, 8900, Tour, etc)
I have my Tour and my old 8330 in front of me and can't find how to this on the 8330.
In your Profiles you have a few options, from Vibrate to Quiet to Off. On 83xx device, you can customize the particulars of each Profile as well. Go to Advanced at the bottom of Profiles.
From your Home screen the Profiles Icon is visible at the top (probably). Scroll up and click your trackball for the dropdown menu!
