    Changed providers, and the former one doesn't seem impressed. They are giving me the run around on releasing my pin (telling me give it a few days, or... no blackberry agents/techs in now blabla)

    anyone has a pin from an old or damaged device they can send my direction so that i can release my device?

    You can't exchange PINs between devices... They are unique to each device. You need to call back and talk to somebody higher up in the tier support.

    Provider has a page that allows to release the BIS service to different pin

    "Change the device currently associated with your BlackBerry Internet Service account. Type the new device's PIN and IMEI."

    if someone has a pin # that is no longer used... then maybe i can rls the BIS account to that pin # thus rlsing mine
