Whats up guys, i just got a curve 8330 and am trying to use it as a modem. i installed the desktop manager and the newest smart view on my computer. the computer recognizes that my blackberry is connected and smart views says (ready: phone as modem/broadband )and it says i have excellent signal strength. everything looks good, but when i click the icon to connect it gives me an error saying i may have bad signal (error 678). i don't understand because it says i have excellent signal. my computer is running windows vista home premium 64 bit. any ideas why im getting this error message?

Do you have tethering added to your plan? Sprint cut off free tethering several months ago.

tethering? i dont know i dont pay for the plan it's a company plan. yeah i just read a post saying you cant do this anymore. the manual said you could do this and didn't say anything about paying extra. oh well. sounded too good to be true anyway.
