im having trouble trying to update my 8330m to the newest os. i downloaded the program run it threw wizerd and deleted the vendor file.i followed the 101 lecture and its not picking it up when i get to the screen were it shows all my 3rd party apps..i think im missing something im for sure..need some help kinda new at this bb..im runnin desk manager 4.5.

Did you DL the OS for the 8330m or the 8330? there is a difference..

i downloaded the file for 8330m thats what my phone is.i never changed the profile.

You said you downloaded and ran it, did you install it, do you see it in your computer programs?

yea ran it and saved it to my documents folder.
