I have a 2GB SD card for my curve 8330 for sprint, and yes its inside the clip perfectly and clamped down. The blackberry does not see the card, and I already tried going into options, and clicked format, but it says card cannot be formated. I find it hard to believe an SD card could brake, my psp has an *GB SD card thats nvr broken, and this 2GB one or the phone is brand new! Is there any way that I can format it from the computer? I have my phone connected now, and running on the blackberry desktop manager program. Any help getting this phone to read this card again would be appreciated. I cannot believe an SD card could brake.

If you have a card reader on your computer and a micro SD to SD adapter, see if the card works on your computer. I have a feeling you don't have the card seated properly.

FYI, SD cards are known to brake for children and small animals.

The SD card may have the slider in the locked postion, which is read only. That could explain why you can't format the SD card.

Micro SD cards don't have that feature.
