I am trying to use google maps and gmail with my 8330 curve on sprint.... i don't have BIS just my sprint power vision with my sero account. I know many people get it to work but mine simply isn't. Neither one are connecting .. I know my data plan is working because Funambol, TellMe App, opera, and various other apps are using the data plan fine.

My gmail simply never gets past the original load. The g maps tells me there is no network available.

Anyone else have problems and work through them?

I had the same problem. Battery pulls and reinstalls did nothing. Resending service books did nothing. After running the device diagnostics in Options, the phone re-registered itself on the mobile network, then it worked. Maybe give that a try.

no luck there...... did u reload the apps after you ran the diagnostic or reset the phone or anything.. or just run then they worked immediately?
