I wanted to know if there is a fix for this problem, desktop manager isnt picking up the curve. i backed it up to downgrade from 4.5 to 4.3 and now when i plug in the curve it wont even show that its charging or anything. when i go to detect in desktop manager no luck. Can anyone help me? I have restarted both pc and bb to no avail. pc on w2k and dm 4.3. bb on os 4.5.0.77

This happened to me the other day. Sorry I am not at home to google it thoroughly but I am trying to remember how I got it to work.

I believe you must open DM with your bb disconnected, click the app loader and get to the screen where it let's you specify what port to look for the phone on, reconnect the bb then select the USB option and you will be good to go.

thanks alot. tried it but no go. Im just going to wait until i get home from work and see if it will work with dm 4.6. I really dislike this os.
