Ok so i installed the .69 upgrade, and did everything correctly. The phone worked fine, but then I turned it off and took out the battery to put in my new 8 gb micro sd card. When I turned it on it had a white screen and the loading icon came up and it stayed that way for some time. So I opened it back up and pulled the battery again, and took the memory card back out. I just put the battery back in and now its at this loading thing again and I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Leave it for at least 15 minutes before attempting anything. It takes a long time for a BB to boot and I observed an even longer booting time with 4.5. Be patient.

You, sir, are correct. I feel dumb for jumping the gun. It's never taken that long before, though, and I was worried. Thanks for the quick reply.

Np. You will find yourself jumping the gun often until you get to know your device well.

lol. when i upgraded to 4.5 a week or so ago. it took forever to load up to.. for the first couple of times.. but now it boots up at normal speed.

and frediec there is a sticky about it on the 83xx forum page
