    Hello,

I'm looking for the latest or older version .alx files for google maps and BB maps to download via desktop manager. My IT policy disabled OTA downloads. Can anyone provide the software files? I was able to download blackberry app world from usb so I assume this will work as well. --Thanks

    Version info:
    BB8310
    v4.5.0.110

Try to search JL Commander.. You can reset to factory

It works fine to my 8310

Thanks. I downloaded the BES files from google.com/mobile/enterprise/ and upon uploading the .alx from DM I get the error "No additional applications designed for your device were found".

For some reason I don't see my version 4.5 in there.

Hmm. I don't know. I did read something about that too. Sorry I can't be of much help. I don't use bes. Maybe ask your it guys to allow you to download those apps then resest your it policy.

FYI -- This worked, clean wipe and reload the policy and start from scratch again.

fyi, if you remove an IT policy put in place by your work, you could get into trouble
