I would like to use my business bb only for personal use now. But somehow I can't change the enterprise activation to my personal yahoo account.

Do I have to reset the device? Who can help?

    Thanks

You might need to get with your IT guy on this one. There may be a policy against adding your personal email accounts on the company BB.

Yes, there is. But I don't want to use the company email account on the BB anymore. Can I "switch" the company BB to a private BB?

Your BES admin would have to remove the BB from the BES.

Is there a way without contacting the BES admin?

You could upgrade the OS on it! This will wipe the BES off of it and you can run your personal email accounts on it. This may still not work, but I think it will!!!!!

What you also might try is Backing up your BB first. But just back up your contacts. Then i would wipe the BB and try adding your personal email address through your BIS.

Wiping the phone or upgrading the OS doesn't remove the policy. I've upgraded my 8310 at least 6 times and the first thing it does is go through the enterprise activation.

You can try the link mookish posted, but I have my doubts it will work unless the PIN is released from the BES.

I unfortunately am going from personal experience with the exact oppositte scenario. I have a personal BB on my works BES. I upgraded it to a OS 4.5 and my BES was gone(poof.) You should still upgrade your 8300, it will at least get you thru until the 9000 finally comes out...maybe!

Ihave a personal BB on a company BES and when I upgraded the OS a few hours later it pushed out the IT policy and all the other info. So upgrading doesn't work. You will have to contact your BES manager and have him remove you from the BES. Sorry about your luck.

Does anybody know what happens to the sim unlock (store.gsmphonesource.com/index.html) once I wipe the bb?
