My BB works fine with the desktop manager and the media manager ( I can move files to and from the card), but the pc does not find the memory card.
I have tried everything I can from the forum but still no joy.
I can take the card out and read it with the PC.
I have formatted it from the BB.
I have tried from many PC's ( I am a computer Tech).

Desktop manager keeps bugging me about upgrading, but the new version does not have media manager.
I have tried different cards as well.
Media Card Support on
Encryption mode none
mass storage mode support on
connected prompt (I have tried on as well)

Any Ideas?????

Terry, so when you hook your BB to your PC via data cable your SD card should show up as an external drive letter (F: mass storage device, or something like that). What happens when you connect? What type of BB do you have?

The computer(s) beep when I plug it in, but no external drive letter. I have checked in the advanced admin section, computer management section and only the single drive is shown for my laptop.
If I try other computers, I get the same result.
If I use the BB Desktop Manager I can transfer via the Roxio Media Manager.

I love my BB's, but I am frustrated by something that should work but does not.
