I changed my password on my device. Now for the strange part. The new password will not unlock my phone. However the new password works to connect to the phone in Desktop Manager? WTF? Now my phone is lockED and unusable. AM I GOING CRAZY HERE? any help or advice?
i know you created the original pword on the phone, and make sure if u used special characters that you are doing them correctly on the phone. by you being able to connect to desktop manager it says you did it correctly on the regular keyboard. the only way i am aware of to correct this now would be to wipe the BB. I would try that then use a password with out special characters.
Ajaxn2 has a point, if the password is working for one but not the other something's definitely up. Hopefully you backed it up recently, I'd say just go ahead & enter the "wrong/right" password until it wipes your Berry, then reload everything. Good Luck either way!
