I'm pairing my Curve 8310 with a Nokia CK-600 in my car. The moment the pairing is complete after entering the car, the entire sound system (radio/cd/even parking sensors) is overridden. I actually have to power off the Blackberry in order to restore sound, thereby defeating the purpose of having a handsfree kit! The Nokia seems to recognise the Blackberry as an active music player but I cannot disable this. I have confirmed that the problem is with the Blackberry and not the car phone kit. Is there a setting on the Blackberry which can allow the phone to remain on and also allow the car sound system to function? Help please!

Sounds like its your car stereo trying to pair with the bb. If it has that capability.

I solved this through trial and error. Went to Bluetooth options/Services and disabled both Audio Source and A/V Remote Control Target. Not sure if it was necessary to disable both but it worked.
