Trust me...go with Cellular South 169. I have tried 175 twice, thinking that I had a bad install. 169 is the most stable best battery life and best memory usage for a Sprint 8330m.

I had 138 then went to175. A nightmare also. Same problem with ringers, battery drain was horrific. Used it for a few days and checked and double checked all my settings; Bluetooth, Apps,WiFi etc. All were where should have been. Went back to 138.

I liked .169 on the 8330 as well, though there was the chirping on Verizon.

Running the 5.0.0.438 Nathanix Hybrid v2.1. It is shrunk down and the memory leak found in the base BoostMobile is not there. After three days I have gone from 29mb to 24mb and going strong.

.138 works fine for my purposes. Not messing with it.

get rid of .77 and get .138.....I had freezing problems and my browser was slow as he**. Then I called Verizon and did an upgrade to .138 and it was like getting a new phone.

.175 on a VZW 8330, never had a single issue or bug that have been reported. It's worked 100% perfect for me with no chirps since the install *knock on wood*. I'll be waiting for my Tour 2 to make the 5.0 jump, just not enough free memory and too many bugs to make me take the plunge with my 8330.

I start with 16.9MB and after it fully loads, couple minutes, it is at 12.7MB. Then, after some use, it goes to 5.7MB. If I clean the memory with the memory shredder, it gains about 1MB-3MB.

There is a big leak with the Boost Mobile Official OS. How can the OS be official and released when it leaks so much? I mean, it's suppose to be able to maintain itself. Sometimes, the phone will just restart. What if it happens during an important call, while you are in a business meeting!
I am not going to the 4.5 or whatever it was 4.7... because threaded SMS is just too good!
But if this leak can be fixed, it would be great.

Anyone have any idea how to fix those memory leaks?

first you need to shrink the OS to get it a size the device can handle better. As far as the memory leak goes you could try a hybrid. This hybrid has very little memory leak.
