    i called tmobile and they said the newest version is 4.2 . So why do i see 4.5 for the 8320?

    because tmo hasn't officially released it but this is an official release from another carrier i see that you are new on here. i would wait until you become more familiar with your device before you attempt it

    Just a FYI... If you run a OS not approved by your carrier, you may not get any tech support from T-mo if you have issues.
