When you are upgrading your OS do you do it with the SIM card and memory cards in the phone or does it not matter as its the phone you are upgrading and the information on the sim and sd card are separate from the devices memory so if you take them out it cuts out potential information being lost as the info is stord on them and not the phone so if you upgrade with them out of the phone it makes mistakes less likely and the backup will be smaller and quicker
Or am I reading to much into this?,
