Good morning everyone,

I see on the Blackberry website that 4.5 OS is available for the 8300 curves. The ATT site has version 4.2 and that is what I currently have installed. My question is, would I screw up my BB if I downloaded and installed the version from the BB site?
No one at ATT seems to be able to answer this (I think) simple question.

UPGRADE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! Not to scare you, but if your are not experienced you could risk bricking your berry (which can be fixed).

But to the question. No it wont mess up your phone if you do it right. I have att and im currently running 4.5.0.81

Hmmm. I'm not a pure novice and have had some exp in installing software. I backed up my BB this morning. So I should be good to go? OK to PIN me
