I have been doing a lot of reading on OS and hybrids and I need some help. What is the best OS or hybrid to get. I am on sprint with an 8330 ESN phone

    If I had to use a straight OS, I'd use Sprint's 4.5.0.131

For a hybrid, I'm using lyricidal's hybrid with a base OS of 4.5.0.131 instead of .160:

Is the hybrid faster than the straight OS? Are there any issues with the hybrid?

There is no reason why the hybrid wouldn't work on your 8320 as well.

You shouldn't, but it is always smart to make a manual backup just in case:

Thanks. I always wondered if you could backup 3rd party apps.

Go to Options, Advanced Options, Applications, Menu, Modules. And you can see what version the files are from.

I'll second that. Faster then the latest approved stable Verizon release for me. Works great.

Besides faster browser renderings, less memory leaks, longer battery life, no bouncing signal, no speakerblast, I think there aren't any negatives compared to the other OS's.

Have an extra copy of windows around? Or know where to get one? Load up Boot Camp. Then install DM.
