Upgraded the ALLTELL OS 4.5 on my Sprint 8330 and appears to have lost BB IM, tasks and notepad applications. Sprint TV, NFL TV and other apps appear to work fine. Any solution to get the lost apps reinstalled?

Thats strange, I did the same and everything works. I would prob try to reinstall it again.

Hook your device back up to Desktop Manager, run apploader and check off the boxes on what you want...

Open up DM, plug in your berry, app loader, and put the check marks back in the box, then click next.

I'm running DM 4.7, i get no system apps to laod to BB. Just themes and games. Any ideas?

Is the OS still installed on your PC?

Figured it out!! got to go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\loader to install the apps. For some reason, DM 4.7 doesn't load the loader file. All installed just fine after that. Thanks, y'all any way.

Sprint reps have no idea. They will, however, lie their collected a**es off if you ask about loading another provider's OS. To hear them tell it, the moment you even look at 4.5 your curve bursts into flame.

I imagine we'll see a Sprint version of 4.5.x.x around the time 4.7.x.x is out on Alltel.
