I was recently on blackberry.com and found the OS version 4.5 as a free download. I downloaded the program for my curve 8330 and installed it to my computer by following program instructions. I connected my 8330 to my computer and entered the password for the device. It then said that my device was up to date and it didnt install the new OS. I know it is not updated because I am running v4.3.0.127. How can I get the OS to install onto my verizon curve 8330?

That will only work if your carrier has approved it.

The upgrade from RIM is OS 4.5.0.81. At the moment the latest OS for the 8330 is 4.5.0.77, which you can get from the sticky at the top of the forum.

Here's a review of the Instinct. I can't speak about the Storm since it's not out yet, but my 4 months experience with BB tells me I wouldn't get anything else.
