Alrighty..

Well just made the upgrade to a new blackberry and well I want the latest operating system .....

But I am wondering if there is a way to update it without the device manager?

anyone have any ideas?

I use my blackberry for my internet so it will not let me install it that way

That's the only way I know of updating the operating system thru desktop manager
