A coworker and I both have BB Curves - I can open documents - Word/Exel. She can't open documents on hers. I have check settings, but can't figure why she can't open documents. Thanks.

The BlackBerry Attachment Service was available before 4.2, but only for email attachments. You couldn't open a doc copied to the device until 4.5.

I don't think it voids the warranty, but AT&T won't support it.

Check her carrier's website. If it's there, she shouldn't have a problem.
