I got my new curve last week and was able to load the new Desktop manager to load off the disk and was able to transfer over my existing 8130 device settings and info onto my new 8330 for verizon. Now every time i try to connect my curve to the DM I get one of those bubbles that the USB device is not regonized and it wont connect to the DM. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the DM about 5 times now and I even downloaded the newest version of the DM from the BB support site and that is not working either, please help.....

You should uninstall the 8310 software (not DM) and install the 8330 OS package.

Yup RRREBO i totally right you need to have the current OS for your phone installed on your PC...
