So my trackball came out for the second time. The first time I just ordered a replacement off of Amazon and everything was okay. This time the tiny round magnetic piece and the small piece of square "film" that covers the magnetic piece also came out and are long gone! Does anyone know if this is fixable or what these pieces are really called? My contract is up soon and I don't want to order another phone.

That square piece of dome shaped metal for the switch under the trackball is one of the hardest parts on the BB to find.

If you can find a cheap parts only, or bad ESN Curve on eBay, you might be able to take the parts you need off of it.

Do you have insurance. If so send it away to get fixed

If you have to upgrade, get a new 8900 or a 8530.
