my yahoo! e-mail account stopped sending and receiving e-mails tonight. after looking through older threads, the general consensus seems to be to resend the service books...
when i go into my e-mail setup on the BB, it says my account is not accessible via HTML browsers and that i need to access BIS using my device. however, since i AM on the device, i'm not sure what to do from here. any help would be appreciated!
No its a RIM Issue all at some point are having the same prob. I'm on Sprint and when I called tech support they had a recording saying that they were aware of the problem and after speaking to a live person they repeated the above info and told me that RIM was fixing the problem and could not give an idea as to how long this might be an issue.

BIS down nationwide-ish. I thought I had messed mine up earlier when I changed a email account then everthing stopped. Finally got word BIS down. You should be fine soon if not already.
What is BIS? sorry just got the phone. and my browser wont show up. I tried a few different remedies but, i have no service books. What does that mean>

you need to set up an account with BIs/ your carrier to get email and the site will send service books which gives your browser etc.. look for your email setup icon
