Has anyone with an 8330 colored there trackball light. I have seen all the different threads about it but they were all about the 8320 and 8310. It seems that the led for the trackball on those models is directly under the trackball. When I remove my trackball on my 8330 its not right there. Its over to the left and I couldn't fit a sharpie in there. So do people with the 8330 just not color it or is there a better route to take with this model

Why would you do that. Then you could never take it in for repair. That's a horrible idea. I guess you could always buy another trackball and drop that ***** in there tho. There cheap anyway

yea there is already another post explaining that you cant change the color of the track ball unless you paint the ball directly.

I have the 8310 but my girlfriend has the 8330. What I've found to work, and it works great by the way, we got a piece of white tissue paper and used a highlighter and colored it the desired color. Sharpies tended to make the ball rather dark, while the higlighter made the ball pop out. It leaves a very bright color. Just an idea but it worked great on hers, just color it then slide the paper in front of the led.
