    Hello CB world....

I'm new to the scene and was wondering if you could explain some of the terminology that i have seen floating around here:

    1) What are service books and what does it mean to resend them?

    2) What does it mean to brick your berry? If i had to guess on this one i would assume it means the samething as locking up your PC.

    Thanks for your input!

    Service Books:

    What is a service book

    Brickberry.

Similar to locking up your PC, but worse. Unlike locking your PC where you can reboot, bricking your BB means the BB is total non-functional. It can be recovered.

Which you might be tempted to do to your Brickberry if it ever happens.

As mentioned before, bricking means it is locked up and not functional. The term comes from the fact that it is about as useful as a brick now.
