I bought a cell phone tool kit from Microcenter. I only needed the t5 and the cell phone cover opener. Worked wonders, and once I had my curve apart, I just used a monitor cloth to wipe the dust off. Then I made sure it was dust free by spraying it with some compressed air.

The entire right side of my screen had gotten to the point where i couldn't read it, and now its dust free. It only took 3-4 minutes, and the tools were about $15.

im so fed up with dust under my screen. i replaced my lens and faceplate because of some scratches and have only had grief since. I have ordered 2 replacement faceplates, and the lenses on both have both come up and are allowing dust under my screen. what is a obsessed bb owner to do?

Its the Torx5 screwdriver for PDA's and electronics. I'm sure you could find in store many places like Sears. Here is a link so you can see.

    Ohhh, I see I see!

I wonder if I can take it to Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. to do it - I'm so bad w/ taking things apart!

I couldn't find a T5 anywhere except microcenter. Sears only goes to T6.

Taking the curve apart is cake. Take the battery cover off, remove the battery.

Use your fingernail on the back of the phone to pry the bottom part off, then once its pivoted a little, pull it forward to release it.

Use the seperator(or a flathead screwdriver) and go all the way around the front of the case. Then pull the front off by hand.

That's it. Clean it, put it back together.

The how to on Youtube is pretty good at showing the exact steps.
