So was giving the next2friends service a try (live broadcasting for those of you who don't know yet) and found out that Verizon is somehow blocking the video upload feature. Works great on other Curves, just not with VERIZON.

So many reasons why I'd switch from Verizon but coverage keeps me hanging on.

So what's the consensus? Was the OP having trouble because of VZW or 4.3? Will it work on 4.5 VZW curves?

I know this is a curve discussion, but I got an e-mail from Next2Friends saying that they now support the Perl. I tried it and it allows me to login, but I can't get streaming to work. I do have the 4.5 OS with Verizon. Has anyone been able to confirm that Verizon is blocking the upload somehow?

So in the end did every one get it working I am on t-mobile using a Curve and I have it working fine.

I also have 4.5 on a Pearl on Verizon, and I can't get it to work. I couldn't find anywhere specifically on their site where it said it didn't work, but it also says it works on GPRS and EDGE with no mention of 1x or EV-DO.

I have a 8330 on Verizon and also does not work. The website recognizes that I am broadcasting but nothing is uploaded onto the site. Has anybody been able to figure out whether this is fixable?

I installed yesterday also 8330 on vzw and no video uploading.

I contacted next2friends about it and they said that's its a known issue that should be fixed in a couple days, so at least they're working on it.

I was using QIK.com on my old MotoQ prior to making the jump to a palm 800w then now to my BB Curve... I liked Qik and hopefully they will have their software ported to the BB...

DL'ing next2friends as I type to see how this works out. Only thing I dont see on their site is any type of twitter integration which is important to me

Out in a couple days. Just working on a format issue on the 8x30's for vzw and
sprint. It took us about a week to figure out the issue. Now we know and are
working on it.

I just purchased a Curve 8900 for T-Mobile, this is my first BB Device haha yes i know i'm a newb. I am a music producer and with Next2Friends it will help me to stay connected to my family and friends so I need your guys help getting N2F working on my BB. Please help me out I need steps. I tried going to the N2F website and downloading it from there but every time I try it sends me a zipped file.
