HI! im new to this, i just downloaded the os 4.5.0.182 frome the wireless upgrade on my phone but i dont really see anything different... if anybody knows pls let me know

I found the newest software by mistake, by connecting to Device Manager. There is nothing different that I can see. The one problem I have now, is the new message envelope is on my homescreen.
Only I do not have a new message anywhere that I can find, I did a battery pull but it is still there. Can anyone help with this please? Thanks

Trying to download new upgrade but keeps telling me fatail error and can't continue. I've even tried on the desktop manager. How can I get this upgrade to download and is there a way to increase the devise memory?? I have a friend and her blackberry has over 25 apps or more. Help if youcan.

If anything's different, can someone post it? I don't see anything. I did lose my home-made theme and had to re-set ringtones and other settings, so it was a PIA. Nothing traumatic though, just a pain.

I hope it's worth it, but I can't tell what is different.

Nothing different that I can see, except that I am getting about 2mb more free memory. Seems a little slower.

There is something different, at least on my end, today I now have an 8 unread message indicator as opposed to 1 yesterday. I have to call AT&T from a different phone, so they can try to resolve the issue.


Update: Problem solved, for some reason some of my e-mails got moved into my message icon on the homescreen, which I have hidden. There were messages in there that were not read, so I deleted them and the message indicator is gone, what is odd is why they went there and also did not show up in my Yahoo mail.

This is a first for me im running 4.5.0.181 and ive installed this deleted the vendor xml and it says theres no upgrade?? BB desktop manager shows the .182 software available but lists it as a downgrade?

Do i keep the .181?

MY curves a spare so as im running the storm i dont have the sim in it is this the problem?

i don't think the problem is because you don't have the sim in it

the platform for the .181 is 2.7.0.108, while for the .182, it is 2.7.0.106, which is the reason it is a downgrade

now, i don't know what's the difference between the two different platforms

Why does this not show up when I check wireless upgrade from my phone? AT&T is my carrier.
