I am considering making the switch to Blackberry. I currently use a Treo, which syncs with my Outlook at work (not BES). I have a personal Gmail account. I use a PC at work, but a Mac at home. I like to be able to view and edit Microsoft docs on the go (ie. word, exel, powerpoint). Before I make the switch, I had a few questions I was hoping someone could help me out with.

1. Does BB sync with Outlook?

2. Can I set up a BB on both a PC and a Mac?

3. Is the 8330 on Verizon 3G?

4. How is using the internet on the 8330? How painful is it?

5. Does the 8330 have wifi capability?

6. Can I view and edit Microsoft docs on the 8330?

2. If your talking about activation, check with your provider.

3. Yes (3G/CDMA)

4. Depends on which browser you choose to use. Default browser can be a little laggy at times. Opera Mini is pretty quick and efficient.

6. You can with Docs2Go.

4. Opera Mini can be downloaded OTA (over the air) to your BB.
6. Docs to Go can be selected from Desktop Manager's Apploader utility, if it isn't preinstalled on your BB.

2. PC = yes. Not sure about Mac.

Re: #5 ~ Interesting again, I see conflicting answers on this constantly. I'm wondering if it's a carrier thing. My GF has VZW/8330 and hers has Wi-Fi. It even says it on the top of her Berry...
