THANKS! I have a 9 year old and no matter how I explain it to him, when I turn my back he is playing with my phone.

Be careful because once you put the password on there, if he enters it 10 times incorrectly, the phone will wipe and ALL the data will be lost.

Use the Mute key at the top of the phone. It's kind of recessed, so I doubt the little one will be able to press that button easily.

Sounds like you gotta be worried though. Kids like to see if thinks will float, etc. in the toilet.

Might be better to just lock the phone than to password it. I enabled my left side key to lock, its quite handy. options>screen/keyboard>left side convenience key>keyboard lock

Just locking the phone is easier and faster when you want to use the phone again.
