Hi everyone, I have to say this is the best sight ever. I have two questions though....1. I have gmail on my blackberry only because I wanted to sync with the calender, now I'm switching to yahoo, can I sync that calender? if I can how do I get rid of the gmail account? 2. How in the heck do I turn of the annoying noise that bleeps every time I get an email?

1.You have to remove the account info off the device. ( you can do it on the device or on the serivce book web page depending on your carrier.)
2.profiles>advanced>menu button and then select edit.(then select the one you want to edit.) you can change ring tone email alerts BB messengers alerts.

I assume you mean from the BB. You need to log in to your carriers BIS site and remove it from there. Browse through the Blackberry 101 lectures in the link in my sig and you'll find how to do that and a lot more!

To turn off, or change, the sound, go to Profiles>Advanced>(select the profile you want to change)>Tune. At this point you can change the tune, set it to vibe, or flat out mute it.
