So minor problem with my curve 8330, called verizon and they are immeditely sending me a new one, should arrive tomorrow/Wednesday. Besides the obvious what do i need to do to prepare. I have links for the downloads for the software currently loaded, and use google sync to sync contacts and calendar.
Do I need to back up and restore the new phone from the back up? So that theme and settings and software all transfer, is it that easy, or is it better to redownload all programs and theme etc. so that the most current version is installed?
My biggest concern is password keeper, if I lose those I am up that creek with out paddle!
PS I am hoping that someone in the wharehouse accidently puts a 8900 in the box. keep your fingers crossed.
As long as you back up your current info and restore it onto the new phone all your passwords in password keeper will transfer over. Ive had to do it a couple times and they're always there.
