    MY 8310 has this icon where a message icon would normally appear, and i have no idea what it is?
    It is a speech bubble with a number 1 next to it.
    Not a message
    Not a BM icon either?

    HELP!

    is it a blue face with a speech bubble? if so that's Vlingo. If you hover over the icon the name of the program appears on the screen
