I had downloaded two email accounts onto by BB 8330 and then decided to delete one but my new email count still shows for the deleted email account (i.e. 30 new emails) and I can't get it to go away! Help!
Check the default folder for messages also. This is the messages icon. It will post a new message count for all missed calls. You have to actually open the missed calls to get the count off. (If you want, you can stop the message folder from logging missed calls altogether if you find this to be the problem)
