just got a 8330, had an 8703E and I screwed it up.

Look at this, new guy coming in with a problem....I know.

I thought I would be smart and transfer my contacts from the 8703e to the 8330 so I ran the swith Blackberry devices from the desktop manager and now the 8330 has the same look and feel as the 8703e....I don't like that.

The phone and push email all work, I tried doing a reset but that didn't change it, the software version is 4.5 something (says current).

What's a boy to do now, do I just suck it up?

When you say same look and feel what do you mean? as in theme?

You could always Upgrade to 5.0 OS do you have an 8330 or 8330m?

Try a free theme to see if that changes anything. If so, try upgrading to the latest OS in the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

There are 5.0 Upgrades that would change some aspects of your phone.....like Threaded sms (AIM, YAHOO,MSN) style chat, a slightly better browser.....but I suggestion you get to know your new phone before attempting such a task but if you decide to Upgrade here are some links that will be VERY helpful

What exactly are you asking? You can change the theme, or update the OS if you thats not what you like....
