okay i have a sidekick lx and im GETTING BORED with it
and thinking for getting a blackberry curve 8320 for tmobile they look
pretty cool and my friend has one and she said its great but she says
that about every phone
so is it a good phone? and should i get it? and is it better than the sidekick lx?
You do realize you are asking a bunch of BlackBerry fanatics if a particular BB phone is good right? I love my 8320. Keeps me sane when I'm not near a PC to check email or read the current news.
Should you get it? That is entirely your call as it is entirely your money
And if you are thinking of switching phones because it "looks cool" and
your friend says it's great you might want to rethink the manner in
which your make decisions
im just getting bored with the sidekick and want something different
I get that. But just because the BlackBerry "looks" cool and just because
your friend (who apparently likes everything) likes it does not mean it is the
best fit for YOU. Try using your friends or testing one in a store.
No one here, not even all of the BB fanboys, can tell you what is best for you.
You're paying for it so you need to forget about our advice and make a
considered decision on your own
That is just awful advice. They don't "rock" for everyone. The OP has to
use one and decide if it is the device they need and want.
This kneejerk get a BlackBerry BS here has to stop.
Take it down a notch!
I seriously doubt that "Go get a Blackberry" is at all kneejerk!
I would venture to say that the OP has already keyed their friends 'berry. And I am certain that if and when the OP goes to look a the phone they will handle it....before purchasing.
And if I am wrong to venture or be certain, then so be it. Most people test drive the car before they buy it...if not then you get what you get and you don't through a fit!!
I have the Curve 8320 and i only have good things to say about this phone. there is no "best" bb phone, it just depends what u need. The flagship of RIM is the Bold which is a great phone but some users have found that they like pearls or curves better. in fact, with the new Storm and Pearl flip, lots more choices
u won't go wrong with a curve. But just for your info, RIM will be releasing the Javelin 8900 soon (end year? start of 2009?). It's basically RIM's next generation curve. Same size as the curve, but faster and prettier. look in crackberry.com for reviews of the phone. just thought i'd let you know about this new device. but as for release date, no one's sure exact when. only it's coming "very soon".
