don't we already have threaded text messages now in 4.3?
Yes and no. Yes, they are threaded, but not nearly as nicely done as the Palm threaded. The threaded we all are looking for is more like what you see when you use the BlackBerry Messenger. Currently BB SMS threads the conversation, but it also keeps separate posts of all the previous messages. So if you text a person 10 times in a day without any deletions, you will have 10 different listings in your SMS box, with the most recent including all of the prior conversations or messages. With true threaded SMS, you would only show one entry for that person, with the entire back and forth conversation between you two. Much easier for keeping track of messages for heavy texters.
