    As was stated, make sure to disable 'hibernate'. Leave your Control Panel open so you remember to restore the setting before shutting down.

    don't worry about it, everything has always gone smoothly for me and many others here as well...

    and i have gone through every OS update there is and was for my 8330..

    i backed mine up, and updated the software, it took maybe 30-45 minutes and it was done. Look at the stickie in the guys post at the top, its was helpful and my experience was not painful at all.

    As the others have pointed out, do not upgrade until you are absolutely comfortable to doing so. Upgrades are great, but a BB brick is not so great. I suggest taking a look at the various threads on CB about os upgrading; it is not that bad after you do your first one. Enjoy. Let us know what happens if you decide to upgrade.
