    Hello,

I apologize if this has already been covered before, but looking around for about half an hour and i have not noticed anything...

I am currently with a Curve 8320 running 4.2.xxx and am presently downloading the 4.5 OS. I use DM 4.6.

Please let me know if the SIM and/or Memory cards need to be removed from the device before updating the OS...

Had the phone for only a few days now so not anxious to turn it into a paperweight!

Hello, I updated my 8310 from 4.2 to 4.6 without removing the sim or memory card. I'm sure you can do the same. 8310 is at&t and 8320 I assume is tmobile, but should apply the same. I hope this help.

You dont have to remove them but some do just in case. I personally dont. Also just thought you might like to read the link in my signature for proper upgrade/downgrade procedure for detailed instructions on your upgrade. Hers the link just in case. http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/pro...ocedure-53359/

How did you get 4.6 for an 8310? How is that possible?

i thought DM was Desktop Manager...?

Desktop Manager 4.6... the latest was 4.7 but the download kept stopping...

Anyhow, the 4.5 OS is up and running on the 8320

A annoying thing though is that some of the icons have "odd" names... the names were "normal" before upgrading to 4.5 OS...

Never mind the odd icon names... a reboot fixed it..

    Cheers!
