I was given a BB curve 8310 by my friend, it's an AT&T model. I got it unlocked today but I'm having problems with it... basically the internet, email & text messaging is working, but for some reason I can't make phonecalls. Despite having reception, it keeps saying emergency calls only when I try to use it. When my friends try to call me it either goes straight to voicemail or it does ring, but the call does not come through on my phone.
Can anybody help me with this?! I'm not very technical at all, but I do really need all the services. I'd be so thankful!!
You may just have to resend your service books, and do a battery pull. Or you need to update your towers and re-register the phone on the network. If you need help with that, just PIN me.
