I bought a curve 8320, it was t-mobile, but its unlocked so I can use on at&t. It has the 4.5 os, and I hate it, I want 4.2 like I had on my previous blackberry, but i cannot seem to find the right file to download to downgrade the OS. I have read many other posts about downgrading, and none have been any help. If anyone could throw me some info, it would be greatly appreciated, I feel silly having to ask.

What specifically do you hate about 4.5? It is in just about every way superior to 4.2

i dislike the way that the texting looks and the contacts, and its laggy, i found 4.2 to run nicer, i dont mind not having video capture, i just want the speed of 4.2 back

The browser is loads better in 4.5 though.

Search the forums or the blackberry download sites for your old OS, then download and install it. Follow the upgrade/downgrade procedure link in my sig below.

If you don't mind using Orange software on your BB, this download link has two versions of 4.2 available for the 8320:

Forgot to mention, look at the Application version for the software, not the Package version when you download the software.
