So I just got the 8330 Curve from Verizon and love it. It's my first smartphone, and I'm really digging the "cumulative text conversation" deal - how you can see the whole conversation and all the replies just by scrolling down (I never had this on my RAZR's before); ya know, like an email with a million replies back and forth and you just keep the most recent one and delete the others...HOWEVER, I was hoping I could just keep the most recent text message (and delete all the older ones from a conversation) and it would keep the WHOLE conversation in the most recent text, but apparently it doesn't work that way? If I delete any of the old texts from the middle of the conversation, then they disappear from the "conversation" in more recent texts.

Is this just the way that it is and I have to learn to deal with it, or is there a way to fix this? Did I do a terrible job of explaining that?

    TIA.

It'd be cool if it worked like email, but oh well...

    Thanks for the reply!
