Hi! I was hoping that some of you could help me,because I'm completely stumped on how to fix this problem. I've tried searching for a answer first,but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. My mother has a blackberry curve from at&t 8310. She is running os 4.5.0.99. This os is working for her so she doesn't want to change it. I went and installed my space for her since she's getting into the hole my space thing. The download went fine. Nothing went wrong,but when I was finished and returned to the homepage there was no app. So I showed all on her blackberry thinking maybe it was somewhere in there. Nothing. I couldn't find the app anywhere. So I went to her application list and my space is in that. So I did a battery pull. That didn't work. I uninstalled my space and then re installed it. Still nothing. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do or how to fix this problem? Thanks again in advance I appreciate it

Yes she is. You think she might need to change her theme? I know some of my apps would not show up in certain themes when I had a curve.

It's possible, i don't have the MySpace app. Although i have heard some people having issues with it, i have not heard anything about the icon not appearing...

Well she changed her theme and that didn't do it either. So I guess that's not it.

did you look in all folders cause i havw the 8330 from sprint and when i downloaded myspace app it put it in my communities foler with the face book app

It may be one of those blessings in disguise. The Myspace app was nothing but trouble on my BB. That being said, I have no clue where it could have gone.

When you go to options>advanced options>applications, and highlight the app, hit menu>edit permissions and see if all are set to "allow"...

After doing some searching on BlackBerry's website, there is alot of people who cannot get the icon. I was having trouble finding an answer, some people did a battery pull and said it popped up, or others did an uppgrade and got it back. I am kinda stuck on this one, but you are not the only one with the problem...

I didn't have this problem with the original OS but then I updated to .99 and I had this same problem. I upgraded to .110 today and loaded myspace again, so far its been fine.

Yeah I'm beginning to think its the os also. Looks like I'm going to have to make her upgrade the os. This should be interesting ha ha. Thanks for your help though.

I'm having the same problem ...upgraded to OS 4.5 today, downloaded all my old 3rd party apps, everything is great, all icons showed up, EXCEPT for friggin myspace! It says it's in my App. list as well, have tried using a standard theme & a downloaded theme...icon still doesn't appear. Have done a billion battery pulls, set all permission defaults to allow, it's NOT hidden...still no icon.

Lame.

Someone hellllllppp please!!

I am having the SAME plroblem!!! I have the 8310 curve and i installed the stupid app and it doesnt show and i checkede in everything still no app except in the applications list but you cant get to it from there!!! : ( i have know idea why it didnt work i have tryed EVERYTHING!!! : ( please help if you have an answere to all our questions!!
