Well, I have been doing lots of reading and research for quite some time and took the change traded my Blackjack 2 in for a Blackberry Curve and I couldn't be happier all I can say is WOW

Loaded the latest 4.5 OS using crackmem then used Maxmem to get rid of the remaining crap. I loaded Windows Live Search, Google Talk and Mobile checkbook and currently have 27.35MB free space, is that good?

27 MB seems a little on the low side but not unworkable. I have maybe a dozen different apps on mine and seem to hover between 31 and 36 MB free most of the time.

You have a 8330 so your device is 96 MB compare to 64 MB of the 8310 so what you have and what 8310's users have is going to be different.

To answer the OP, 27MB is good on the 8310. On my 8310, I have a ton of stuff loaded and I usually float around 20-22 MB

It's good for AT&T. The other carriers always have more free memory than we do.

Sounds good to me I usually stay around 18 or 19 mbs although i seem to have 4 mb used that I can't account for. I wonder if a clean wipe and install will correct that.
