    is there anyway to speed up my curve i have an 8310 and whenever i go to reply or send a text message it is very slow and can take up to a minute for the phone to react that i am pushing a button. i delete text messages every day so its not that i have too many stored. any suggestions on what i can do? i am getting so frustrated.

    if its memory thiers a write up in the 101 section on how to clear up memory. definitly a good write up. should check it out.

    I know my curve slows down if i have to many msgs stored on the phone. i delete a day or so worth of msgs and all is well again.

    You may not like this answer, but it just may be a network thing. Some ppl have said that Sprint sometimes does this for a few days, then it's ok. There is a Verizon user who said that their BB only lags when sending an SMS to a friend with AT&T, everyone else = no lag.
