i tried doing the upgrade to 4.5.0.124 from 4.5

i downloaded the DM 4.7 and installed the OS to my laptop (running windows 7)

when i was doing the upgrade, it was running for over 2hours with the screen stating "Load JVM and system software"

now, i closed the upgrade, and all i'm getting on my Curve is Red Flashing Light blinking twice every few seconds. I can't turn it on or anything

Any way to fix this? Please have the answer

Uninstall 4.7 DM and install 4.5 or 4.6

Do a search on "how to recover a dead berry"

Sounds like you need to reload your operating system...

Go back to your other thread, no need to start another.

Not only this, but I would recommend switching over to a computer with Windows XP on it. I've heard people having nothing but problems with Windows 7.

I've been using Windows 7 and it's much better than Vista. But for BB OS upgrades, I'd go with Vista or XP because they both are stable, release versions. Not betas like Windows 7.

i've installed the 4.5 DM and an OS on an XP

i'm going through the "recover a dead berry"

when the application loader wizard comes up, it can't connect to the device...this is the message that i get:

A connection to the device could not be established. Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the cradle or USB cable, and that the cradle or USB cable is connected securely to your computer. Also ensure that the device has completed any startup operations. Then run the Application Loader Wizard again.

    what can i do now?
