from mobile network. This has happened 3 times - I charge the battery at night and in the morning, it has lost it's connection. If I don't notice it, I miss my calls.

When this happens, going into mobile network and "turning on" connections sometimes do not work. One time I had to take battery out and restart.

It sounds like a service issue, was the 3 times today? because verizon had an outage from about 3 or 4pm est for a while

Not 3 times today. This morning, 2 weeks ago twice in a 3 day period.
